    We all knew it wouldn't last and AVB (average bastard) is keen to jump the spud juggernaut for a proper team. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...Hart-Lane.html

    So here's a list of names that the wide boy Levy could call upon for the new season;

    Rafa Benitez
    Harry Rednapp
    Fat Sam Allardyce
    Klu Klux Kenny
    Neil Warnock
    Glenn Roeder

    As long as we don't end up with any of them as when you look it shows we still do have a few choices left and I thought we'd run out of options. <yikes>

    KO agree with you on most points but NOT AVB. He has done a good job with a very ordinary team this year and also the years before he joined our asylum.
    Our dysfunctional management and egomaniacal players did for him.
    He made mistakes, who doesn't in the beginning in the PL ?? Perhaps his biggest was taking on JT, Frank and Ashley, though it is pretty clear this was under instructions from above. Interesting that Frank and JT are now on the outer, so something has changed the thinking of those at the top, who are now in agreement with AVB !!!!!
    An AVB managed team will cause us serious grief in the not too distant future.

    I have to side with CP on the AVB assessment! I realise he didn't send sparks round our dressing room when he was here but we all know why that was ! He , no doubt, has used that experience to his advantage! His opponents at Chelsea are close to leaving/hanging up their boots and as much as I admire them I wonder how much AVB would achieve with a new squad!
