    Dont you just love the Ameobi, he will never leave us. FACT
    ..ofc nobody wants him.
    BUT i reckon he can score us a couple of goals and fill the void that Carroll has left behind for the rest of this season.
    WE DO NOT NEED TO PANIC BUY.

    I would've taken 20m. two years ago we nearly flogged him for 1million to west ham & last sept everyone was doubting his ability to step up to prem level. he's had half a season and we're getting 35m for him! a player who continues to get in trouble with the police and have bust ups with team mates. liverpool are as thick as ****e if you ask me. daft spending.

    we're fine for the rest of this season lads. we're on 30 points with 13 games left.
    It's all a shock, but we should be okay. 35m is excellent business. Ranger for 20m anyone?

  2. Well, he's a local lad and loves the club.. god i'm saying it again... but i think he didn't leave because no one else would take him. He's one of those players that never really got a big chance, and he came at a time when we were in the champions league and doing well. He's good enough for the current NUFC squad, but not for our old squad.
    He's just never had a break and never been quite good enough. Hopefully he'll live his last few years with newcastle and stay with the squad and score agains the mackems.

    Amoebi = Geordie legend.

    Its good business but Ameobi is not good enough to fill Carroll boots no matter how much he wants to be. We are gonna struggle to score goals with our strikers from now on i reckon
