Taylor said: "Ideally I'd want to be scoring more goals, but as long as I am making a contribution in us winning games then I am happy. I've been a bit unlucky with goalkeepers pulling off good saves, but obviously I have missed a couple of chances I would usually score. That has been a bit of a disappointment for me, but I feel like I have been playing well in the majority of the games and I'm not worrying about that. The pressure put on me by fans or the rest of my teammates or the manager is something I don't think about too often. Obviously I'd like to be scoring goal every week, but the person who puts the most pressure on me is myself. I feel like I'm getting in the right positions and that is all you can do as a striker. Eventually the bounce of the ball or the direction of the final pass will run in your favour. I'm not too bothered about missing chances because when it happens I'm already thinking about scoring the next one. All I'm thinking about now is scoring a goal at Aldershot on Saturday and then to take things off from there." http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...dle-pressure/story-23070391-detail/story.html
Almost as bad as when Jamie White promised us "Goals goals goals" the only thing he's managed is a to get a regular spot on the bench! I'm not sold on Matty either, I love his work rate and I want him to do well but if you haven't got the natural goal scoring ability then he's playing in the wrong position. I think it would suit him more if we played a 4-3-3 and we played him out wide.
