As the other thread has been hijacked, just thought you should know that Taylor is out for the season, really gutted for the lad. As have been said your player was not at fault, just want to thank the players and Sunderland supporters for their applause and well wishes for him.

Real shame. The lad was doing well for you too. I think our two teams will be close to each other this season. Looking forward to the return leg.

Yes we have I think, Alan Tate maybe, or one of the younger players like the lad who covered him yesterday Ben Davies, we have a couple of others who probably could fill in, but it was our weak spot and now we have been exposed.

to be fair, your lad who came on kept our star signing quiet for the rest of the match, lucky for us fletcher had his scoring boots on.

swans will be alright, and good luck to you, good football and you didn't throw billions away to get there.

You could tell straight away it wasn't good and we were in a pub and got an instant replay. His ankle was crushed under his own leg and in bringing down Gardener, the full body weight of him too.

I'm gutted for the lad and for Swansea and it just goes to show how easily all our clubs plans and hopes can be derailed. I hope he recovers quickly and Swansea can still prosper.

The EPL needs good footballing teams like Swansea and less of the kick and rush stuff.

Best wishes to the boy Taylor, a bad footballing injury without malice on either part.

Sincerely hope he makes a full recovery.

Thanks Valleyswan for the kind words. Hope the lad recovers well for next season.

I was a bit annoyed about the booing some of the Swans fans gave Gardener during the game, but hopefully it was only a minority.

It actually turned me off Swans fans for their ignorance, so I appreciate your comments regarding the incident.

To be fair when Taylor looks back on the challenge you could say it served him right. It was an awful challenge on his behalf and it looked like he tried to hurt Gardner but came off the worst.

I feel your pain - we were already in need of a LB/RB and we've lost 3 in the space of 2 games!
