Loaned to Blackpool - Good or Bad?

I personally think it’s a bit of a slap in the face, I think he’s good enough for the championship. I would play him instead of Baker, he’s quick and mobile, unlike Williams and Is capable of bringing the ball out unlike any of our other centre backs , he has a mistake in him , but that’s because he wants to bring the ball out , whereas the others take the easy option, if I was him I’d be asking my agent to find me another club, he’s already proved he’s championship quality and dropping back to league 1 won’t achieve anything for his development.

I don't think LJ rates him. He's a bit like Magnusson in my eyes in that he does look classy but makes the odd mistake. I was a fan of HM and felt LJ was a bit harsh in getting rid of him. However Johnson probably sees a lot more than I do in terms of understanding what he needs from his players. So if he doesn't think TM is up to standard yet then he has to make that call.

From what I saw of him early in the season, he deserves better than this, especially Blackpool, surely they could have got him a better deal than that?

Personally I agree with LJ on this. Taylor Moore has the ability to go further but needs to get more game time under his belt.
The way we’ve been shipping goals, I know we’ve had three clean sheets, but they’ve been without Taylor. Put Taylor Moore into a non pressure cooker environment will help him improve.

Biggest surprise in this window to me, was we didn’t buy a left back.

It's a good thing he needs games at his age to aid his development and not sat on the bench as he is now our 5th best central back. When Williams and the new loanee goes he will move up the pecking order and will become a regular in a Season or two

It is a case we have a chance!!!!!!!! of the play off's along with at 11 other clubs [ and maybe the odd one or 2 that might get a purple run from 13th to 21st???
with the transfer window we are saying .. we need experience … we need goals …. we need clean sheets .. we need a bit of proven quality …. and we need this to be the team for the next 17 games. Its not exactly sh** or bust but a genuine attempt this time round of "not finishing just outside of the top 6!!!!!"

my worry is that should the 147 -1 chance of us being in the prem next season happen we will be lacking a team to compete without spending a lot of money … like maybe 30-50 £m unless we got an auto then we wouldn't know till almost a month after the season ends ...less time to look and buy!

I don’t think he’ll be here in a season or two, which is a shame because I think he has the ability, personally prefer him to baker , I take the point about making mistakes, the others don’t because they don’t bring the ball out.
I agree with reliant , LJ obviously doesn’t rate him , so best thing for Moore to do is leave and sign for a manager that does.

I don't agree, we now have brought in 2 additional loans to give us more experience and possibly more stability and cover our squad with the withdrawn from loans and newbies means there is less opportunity to be playing … better to be at another club and playing than sitting in the stands or on the bench for 12 weeks or more ….

Rowe done a good job, but look how much more attack minded we are with a natural LB.

Yes he will. Probably as captain. Not sure where the LJ doesn't rate him part comes from. If that is the case he wouldn't have played so many games or got an extension to his contract

I can see that , but from the players perspective if we keep loaning him at some point he may as well move somewhere else permanently where he’s going to play regularly , he’s proved he’s capable of playing at championship level , consistently playing at league 1 level isn’t going to make him any better , he needs to be playing in the championship.

Contract extension is so we get money for him rather than going on a free, he was forced that play him due to injuries earlier in the season, when he proved more than capable of playing at this level, opinion that he doesn’t rate him is he’s loaned him out now when imo he’s better than Baker , who plays regularly, I like Baker , but he’s a sic note and isn’t great with the ball at his feet.

Played league 2 last season and the one before. League one should be better experience than sitting on the bench occasionally. Benkovic, Kalas, Baker and Williams will be ahead of him going forward. Next season he will probably be up against Baker and Kalas with more game time.

Played championship football earlier this season , wasn’t out of his depth, often was the best player on the pitch , I don’t get that he’s fifth best , Williams is great but slow , Baker is ok but injured half the time , even when not injured I prefer Moore , apart from getting game time playing in league 1 isn’t going to prepare him for the championship, the gap between the two is too big he needs championship football. I don’t think we’ve treated him very well.

The others are also probably as good as they are ever going to be, Moore has the potential to be much better than any of the them if he continues to improve at the rate he has recently, he isn’t going to do that playing League 1 football.

Forced to play him? When we had Wright and Pereir who could have played ahead of him. He started the first match of the season against Leeds when we could have got a loan in. We could got a free agent in at any time to replace him. So we waste wages on him so we can get money for him sometime in the future seems crazy bit of accounting. Better than Baker really? We've just won 3 games on the trot 1-0 with Williams and Baker do you think that would have happened playing a youngster with mistake in him?
