Scally is sure Taylor will come good, even if most of the fans remain skeptical. We'll see how that pans out, come the new year and the end of the season looms http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29762008
Sorry I don't agree with the Chairman's comments and could pick up on them in so many bits. However, rather than do that let us look back at previous comments published in the media. Remembering Martin Allen had just won us the League Two trophy the season before. The article quotes: "I could have waited until Christmas, I could have waited until January or February, and maybe things would have changed, but - and I have watched football for a long time - I didn't see any change in the way we were playing, I didn't see the players playing to their potential. "Two wins out of 13 - because we were knocked out of two cups - was a concern and the way we've been playing with the quality of the players we've got was a concern. If we'd continued on current form, we'd be relegated, without a shadow of doubt. .... So Taylor has won 3 in 14....http://www1.skysports.com/football/...l-scally-defends-decision-to-axe-martin-allen In my personal opinion i feel there is a lack of consistency but opinions eh? I'm not saying Taylor should be sacked, I'm just using a mirror of contrasts. So i guess if we get knocked out of the FA Cup in a few weeks it will be goodbye Taylor. Although I do have one question for our Chairman...did you go to Rochdale, if so I would like your thoughts on that game, rather than Preston?
At least Mr. Scally is acknowledging that there is unrest among the fans about the management situation that I think comes from how good this squad could potentially be! We have a very tidy young squad which I would say is no stronger or weaker then the likes of Oldham or Bradford who are comfortably set in this league, again the Keith Hill quote comes back to mind about beating them to players so why are we so low down? Don't win today and the situation gets much bleaker.
At last brb you've seen sense, about time you started banging the Mad Dog drum. Lets get him back to sort out this mess.
IF the current form continues, I reckon PT will be gone in 12 games. Currently he still has the potential of a little money spinner with a chance of a JPT Wembley appearance. Also a home tie in the FA Cup. Count into that the league games...mess it up and he will be gone by Port Vale (AWAY) i reckon.
Lenny I said this in the other thread, is Taylor doesn't realise Scallywag has lined his replacement up and not only that he has got him sat in the dugout next to him then he is a bigger fool than I thought.
