It's all well and good to re-contract Taylor; but I hope this does not subordinate Allen. We need to get him sorted asap. Same with Jazz and Dyer.
i don't know what the real story is here so maybe unfair to judge on what we read in the press, however i've got my doubts about this, not sure what message it sends to the rest of the squad concerning contracts. if he does stay, young Taylor's going have to put in some quality shifts on the pitch
I wonder what they've set the sell-on/talking to clause at this time. And I hope they've re-worded it to make it crystal clear which one it is. Maybe they need two clauses; one for talking to a player and another for buying him. It would then be pretty clear.
Great end to the saga! Good to see solid quotes from Neil. I hope that everyone puts this behind them now and that nobody gets wrongfully on his back come the start of the season. He's a good player, knows that we gave him his chance, and wants to repay the fans loyalty and support after his unfortunate sending off in the play-offs. Good on you Neil Taylor, and good luck for the new season!
Glad to see it resolved, most importantly looks like the "talk to" clause held very little weight when tested so thats one in the eye for agent Moralee who seemed intent on getting a move for his client.
Quality news. Looks like it was indeed his agent, who has now managed to make himself public enemy no1 with all Swans fans. Good work that man! Excellent interview by Neil Taylor. If I said anything untoward (which I don't remember doing) then I retract it, here's hoping he continues to come on in leaps and bounds.
