Job opening as a driver for titus..

SOCCER ace Titus Bramble was clobbered by a judge after jetting off on holiday - when he was meant to be in court for speeding.
The crocked Premier League star, 29 - nursing a knee injury in Los Angeles - was hit with a 12-month ban in his absence.

District Judge Ian Lomax made it clear the Sunderland defender had tried his patience because the court date had been set "so that it didn't clash with football fixtures".

He added as he also ordered Bramble to pay £2,480: "He chose not to attend court, so his rights have not been denied, because he chose not to exercise those rights."

The player's BMW was clocked at 61mph on the M6 - a day after doing 57mph along the same temporary 50mph stretch.

Told that Bramble was on a "foreign tour" with his club, the judge said boss Steve Bruce or a club director should have sent a letter to the court in St Helens, Merseyside.

Last night Sunderland said Bramble was on a "short holiday" to recuperate.

A snap on Twitter showed him with two soccer buddies - as he joked: "LA is now the chill out zone for English Prem players."

Last night the picture had been removed.

looking into this it.s not the first time. dec 2003

Newcastle United footballer Titus Bramble has been banned from driving for seven weeks for speeding and breaching the terms of his licence.
The star was also fined £2,000 - £1,000 for speeding and £1,000 for failing to provide a licence - and must pay £500 in court costs.

Bramble was clocked driving a BMW X5 at 102 mph on the A14 in Sproughton, Suffolk, last January.

The 22-year-old defender, who lives in Newcastle, did not appear in Ipswich Magistrates' Court in Suffolk on Tuesday and was sentenced in his absence

Wigan centre-back Titus Bramble lost his license for the second time, for using his mobile phone while at the wheel.

Bramble was caught out while driving his high-powered Range Rover with personalised number plates last year.

The Ipswich-born 27-year-old was tracked for half a mile in Manchester city centre by Pc Nigel Poole, magistrates heard at the earlier hearing.

Pc Poole, who was on a motorbike, said: "I moved off and followed him down Deansgate and he appeared to be talking and laughing and joking into the phone."

When pulled up alongside Bramble at a set of traffic lights and tapped on his window the footballer turned to face him, still holding the phone.

I hate this with players today, utter ****ing contempt for the law. Because they all have more money than ****ing sense they do what they like, £2480 fine, what does that mean to him and he will simple get a driver. Time to bang a few up then see how they enjoy their ****ing money, not happy.
