Steve Coppell has followed Richie Barker out of the Fratton Park exit. The former Crystal Palace boss had been serving as director of football after arriving with Barker in December. But following the mutually-agreed departure of Pompeyâs boss, Coppell has now followed suit. Assistant manager and goalkeeping coach Anthony Williams today also left as the 109-day regime ended. Coppell was never contracted to the club and during his time with the Blues claimed only expenses.
