Welbeck Larsson Vaughan Johnson DJ Campbell N'Zogbia O Shea Pavulychenko Crouch All of the above yes All the below no thanks N'Gog Brown Gibson Bothroyd Feel free to add or take away from.
Slightly differenet but mainly agree. Trouble is if Hendo worth 20Mil how much does Welbeck command now!!!! Welbeck Larsson Vaughan Johnson N'Zogbia O Shea Pavulychenko N'Gog All of the above yes All the below no thanks Brown Gibson Bothroyd DJ Campbell Crouch
Prison why N'Gog and not Campbell? One has scored goals at this level one hasnt? DJ Campbell would be a good buy for the money IMO. N'Gog wouldnt.
I think our targets are: ngog brown gibson o'shea crouch johnson gardner larsson vaughan westwood just purely a guess though
i dont think we could get both pav and crouch as theyd both be on high wages and one would have to sit on the bench, assuming gyan is our main man, and they wouldnt move from spurs bench to our bench. i would probably take n'gog over dj as he wouldnt cost alot and is still young with a lot of time to develop, plus if he didnt do it here he would still have a sell on value. gibson i would also like to sign as again he is a good young player who could develop into a better player if he had the chance of first team football. the rest i would like to see here. i think vaughan is such an under-rated player and is very comfortable on the ball. finally, id love to see us sign an out an out left back but ive got no idea who is available and is any good. so for me: Welbeck Larsson Vaughan Johnson N'gog Gibson N'Zogbia O Shea Pavulychenko left back oh....and westwood for backup keeper not much really!
Sell all the first team, sign Messi & put him in wi the young'uns. Tongue firmly in cheek, cheeky bastard.
I would take Gibson too... Only really seen him a few times but he looked excellent against Schalke. I would also take any of Brunt, Odenwinge, Zamora and Dempsey.
I quite enjoy Hugo Rodallegas game, work hard for the team. quite a lot more to be seen from him in the future, Im sure. as for the rest of your choices Cest, Id be more than happy with them, sure thing is, Crouch wont come, but not heartbroken myself.
Welbeck - on a permanent not a loan Larsson - definately, better dead ball delivery and good reliable grafter for a free Vaughan - as above, good squad player DJ Campbell - 3rd/4th coice striker, good impact player so wudnt mind him as a squad player N'Zogbia - would be a massive massive improvement either as part of a 3pronged attack or to give us balance on the left hand side O Shea - versatile, reliable, proven winner, champ league and international experience, defo got a good 2-3years left in him Pavulychenko - take him in a heartbeat, quality through n through, would work well with gyan but would he come (wages and location?) Crouch - dont care if hes rejected us 10 times, would make a massive improvement to our starting line up N'Gog - I'll never write off a player before he's played for us but id be very dissapointed if he was considered a replacement for Bent, 3rd/4th choice i wudnt grumble Brown - not for me, too old, too much wages, much prefer a Hutton, Onuoha, Bardsley at right back and if he was bought for a centre back then defo no way Gibson - always rated him, excellent range of passing, good dead ball ability and can hit a hell of a ball from long range, plus might hav sumthn 2prove Bothroyd - as above, 3rd/4th coice then id have him on the cheap In conclusion i wudnt be too dissatisfied with most of the names mentioned as long as the price is right, priority for me would be N'Zog, a left back and a quality strike partner for Gyan. The rest would just be bulking out our squad in my opinion.
13 in 42 prem games not too much to get the pulse racing for me (all last season drew blank with brum) and Bpool were pretty much all out attack last year everyone was having shots so would have expected him to get a few in that team. Think for a french U21 who admitted is a risk but does represent the "other option" striker think a couple of Mil worth the risk. Would much prefer Lukaku like but we have a whole squad to improve. Now if he represents the marquee striker this summer come the close of the window I'll be on here kicking off with ya Cest
Especially like Brunt whenever seen him play. Might need a bit of Bardo treatment but what left foot.
Roger Johnson - DEFINITELY Craig Gardner - Not sure NGog - I would say yes for 3 mill. But as a squad player Pavlyuchenko - Yup definately Crouch - Not sure, could be brill but I defo think theres better Campbell - Similar to NGog, would be nice but still squad player O'Shea - DEFINITELY Gibson - Im gonna put my head on the block here and say I think that will be an excellent signing, I think he can give us a new dimension in midfield. I think hes underrated Brown - ?! Not sure at all, I wouldn't say no but again hes gotta be classed as a squad player Westwood - Are we selling Gordon? Gordon for me is on of the best in the business but Mignolet is pretty tidy, If we sell Gordon, Westwood is a bargain! Larsson - Definitely N'Zogbia - Definitely Vaughn - Great for free Overall I can't complain with who we've been linked with, but what worries me is that we are looking at a fair amount of squad players. Yes we need them but Im more excited by a marquee signing. We need a top notch striker and a top notch midfielder (N'Zog is NOT that player). Sadly I couldn't name u the players I would want who are available. But would be interesting to see peoples thoughts
For the yes list: N'Zogbia Welbeck Striker Left back Everyone else we've been linked with don't really interest me, but i accept we're sure to bring some of them in.
For me I rekon Westwood - Yes O'Shea - Yes Brown - Not Bothered New LB ??? Larsson - Yes Gibson - Not Bothered N'Zogbia Yes Pavyluchenko - Yes N'Gog - Yes
Westwood (free) Upson (free) 21 England caps, level above Turner Warnock £3m ? Hutton D.Vaughan (free) Larsson (free) Nzogbia (£12m) Ngog (part of Henderson deal) DJ Campbell (£1m) STAR STRIKER (whatever is left in the kitty, whatever it takes)
Not our target of course, but an interesting target from the leeds board Latest rumour doing the rounds on twitter - Zenden on a free. Wouldn't be a bad signing, although getting on a bit and would probably be on big wages
Reports from Asia suggest that young South Korea striker Ji Dong-won could be set to join Sunderland from Chunnam Dragons. An unnamed and unquoted Chunnam club official has told the Korea Herald that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs
