    Good player to add to the squad but unlikely to be a first choice unless we have a run of injuries/suspensions.

    Ah it's fine this looks likely now so deserves a thread. I like Heider and think he'd make for a good addition. Solid squad player.

    Taff I'd say he fits the mould people have been crying out for on here, on a 1 year deal, no fee. Happy days even if he's only a backup, right?

    I think he can do job for us depending on how Malky sets us up and, on who we have to feed him. I still think that Bellamy chap could also do a job here. Lets hope this signing isnt to soften the blow of CB not coming. Sounds like a good bit of business though.

    Are you losing it Hilts? :p You'd rather have (and I quote the QPR board) Jay "I can't be bothered" Bothroyd back? Why?

    Jay = more money, large ego, lazy, not malkys type, only 2 Prem goals
    Helguson (From what I've seen) = Hard working, 8 goals in 16 Prem starts, Getting on but its only one year?, cheaper

    Mod, I have no idea, I just don't feel inspired. Has a deal been done that we take HH and the hoops get CB? By all accounts the lad is quality but injury prone and a back up player at Rangers.
    I hope he does the business and proves me wrong. It will help having him about because of his experience and Malky obviously rates him, so he'll have my backing whether I am high on the happy side or being the grumpy old bastard I am tonight :)
