... and not just what is a tangerine, satsuma or mandarin. Advice needed. I like to scoff a few of the little fellas, at this time of year, but limit mesel to 3 at a time. As we're close to Spain the local shop sells lovely fresh ones, with leaves attached which I love. My dilemma is that now and again I'll really enjoy the first two and look forward to tucking into the third. Sadly it will sometimes be a real disappointment ... ... dry, tasteless or bitter. So now I've had my self-allotted three but don't want to finish on a low note. I'd be hoping for a great number 4 but what happens if I get a repeat of number 3 ffs! I'd then be in the uncharted territory of piling in for number 5 I'm not medically trained but I'm envisaging the possibility of a dose of the shytes ... ... I'm struggling here tbh.
could you not just bin no.3 and go straight to no.4. If that's one of the dry ones, bin and try a no.5. Or, to be absolutely certain that no.3 is a good one, open all 3 and eat the ****e one first. They're Terrys chocolate oranges, aren't they?
Think you need to approach Boris on this one Smug, he has a background of solving unsolvable dilemmas or so I've heard. Don't think he'd mind cos he hasn't much on the go at present. Just a thought.
Well l’ve heard that government civil servants will never eat a satsuma nor clementines - that’s cos they all aspire to one day become a Whitehall manderin. A’ll get me coat. KTF
Growing up in a pit village it was drummed into us never to waste food, so the option of throwing away number 3 creates a bigger dilemma. If number 4 is then as bad, or worse, I could be in a position of throwing away half of those I've chosen. It's a fucxing nightmare
Very appealing thread originally but think the OP has had a skinfull cos others give him the pip by taking the pith.
