There is a thread on OTIB saying he’s coming back to us. Obviously until it’s on the OS we won’t know - but I’d be surprised if we hadn’t at least enquired.
Although my comment about him making a return was said totally tongue in cheek it would be nice to have him back at the Gate. I thought he looked somewhat lost at Swansea and perhaps he would welcome the opportunity to come back to where he was adored and he enjoyed his football. The sheep may be prettier over the bridge but the grass isn't necessarily greener.
I said he should have stayed with us for another season, think he found it hard with a struggling premiership side, saying that I think he will stay in the premiership, but who with is anyone's guess.
If we somehow got him here it would be a massive coup. I don't think he would've struggled at a different side - all strikers need service & Swansea have been on a downward slide for 2-3 years.
