I think most, if not all, of our supporters would welcome him back especially as it wasn't his decision to leave. A very talented player who sort of lost his way over the bridge and he could be an answer for us if we could get him on a long-term agreement without breaking the bank in the salary department. Was there some kind of extra info in the thread because over here I generally can't stream the video portion and sometimes miss the key points of the thread.

In my mind should have never left (I know it was out of his hands) another season with us would have improved him even more, going to Swansea, and not getting as much game time must have been deflating at times, we can all dream I suppose.

When you consider the players that left us with a sour taste in our mouths Tammy was a breath of fresh air. I would welcome his return and the thought of the skills he could re-invigorate with us leaves me with a good feeling, but many a rumour has been just a rumour.

But if he had stayed Bobby probably wouldn’t have gone up front and we wouldn’t have £10 million in our pocket

Spot on . Tammy was an exception , but on the whole ide rather “bring on” our own rather than someone else’s , would consider him if we could afford him , but only if he’s ours . Personally I don’t think it’s likely , not at the moment anyway. Who knows what the future holds he did seem to genuinely enjoy his time here and the fans took him to their hearts.

Apart from his driving ‘mishap’ Tammy seems mature beyond his years - unlike many others we have seen at the gate through the years.
Sensible bloke not burning his bridges - unlike Maynard (and Flint did with Swindon) and many others.
I would love to see him return but would temper that with caution because if Chelsea put a ‘must play’ clause in like Liverpool did with Kent then LJ would have his hands tied. Ok Tammy is far better than Kent but we need to be able to make changes if things aren’t going right.

Well if we're now letting Duric go as well we need a proven striker to replace him with Reid having departed along with Engvall.

Is Matty Taylor the answer ? I am really not convinced.

The opener against Forest would have had home win all over it a week ago. Now It's looking like anything but.
