Looks like Wenger has conceded we need to buy bigger and taller players. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jun/01/arsene-wenger-tall-players-arsenal So it seems he has finally seen the error of his ways and is willing to try new things. Maybe this is why Samba is on his radar. Wonder if its worthwhile him signing this guy: http://images.mirror.co.uk/upl/m4/apr2009/7/3/zhao-linag-pic-barcroft-image-2-232025356.jpg Or maybe even: http://www.gala.fr/var/gal/storage/...FR/shaquille_o_neil_et_sa_femme_reference.jpg Heard he has recently retired...may be available cheap.
crouch? ok maybe not. What about that birimgham player thats lanky. If he wants taller players..... looks like bendtnar wont go
I think they would have zero technical ability, would be too slow and clumsy and don't play for a team with an exiting name so therefore they must be absolutely ****ing useless.
Not only taller players but "an experienced defender, maybe one who has been used to life in the Premier League"! As long as we don't bring Cygan back then D.I.S.C.O.
Apparently there are two now for which I apologise whole-heartedly! I used to infrequently post on 606 but under the name PeterRICK.
Here are a few taller players that could be signed for cheap(ish). - Roger Johnson (6ft 3), Birminghams best defender for a while now and could be cheaper now they have been relegated - Gary Cahill (6ft 2), same as above but probably more expensive - Chris Samba because he is an absolute beast - Demba Ba (6ft 2), seemed to score lots of important goals for West Ham - Marouane Fellaini, (6ft 4) probably not realistic atall but he is the type of player we should be looking for. Physical but also technical - Brede Hangaland, (6ft 4), at 29 years old though Wenger might not want him
