incase you missed it this morning, talksport keys and gray between 10-1 tue/wed are live here in the city, doing special shows on the the Tragedys in the run up to the debate next monday ay 7pm. Today we heard from Graham Beecroft, the replayed his harrowing radio reports of the terrible day, also The Echo Sports editor and a South Yorkshire copper who was a a young pc on the day. who gave a very interesting account, including he said, when he got home I thought "we got it wrong" a refreshing but harrowing viewpoint from a South Yorks copper. Tomorrow and wed will feature (ex)players/fans and familys, aldo is on tomorrow and over the days the HJC will on, not sure if they carrying on thurs/fri Whatever we think of this station or keys/gray, its fantastic that Hillsborough is getting national platform, to tell the truth and expose the lies and cover-up, its A MUST LISTEN TOO JUSTICE FOR THE 96< EXPOSE THE LIES BEFORE THATCHER DIES ALL WE ARE SAYING IS DONT BUY THE S*N

Sir Bob, I too understand your desire to "spread the word". However, I don't see how a programme on TalkSport is going to do that. All that will be achieved is a goulish re-hashing of the events as nothing new will be revealed. I wasn't at Hillsborough; I knew nobody who died or any family that was bereaved however the mere thought of that day brings tears to my eyes. I just don't want to go back through it all again UNLESS there is a truly gainfull reason for doing so.

you guys do know exactly what mr keys said on talksort about hillsborough before. This show wants very careful scrutiny as i think the offensive comments will be straight out of the hosts. i think all who listen should be very ready to note a complaint to this radio station if that guy dares to say soemthing again
let me explain. The debate is in House of Commons and the decision makers are all MPs. No pesky little programme by TalkSport will have any true effect upon them at this point. THEY are the Prime Audience at this time. If the programme(s) were on BBC TV, ITV or Sky then you may have an argument. The majority of the audience of TalkSport who would be moved to contact their MPs have already shown their solidarity by signing the e-petition. Even if you did contact your MP (presumably not one from Merseyside) the standard response would run along the lines of "the matter will be debated in a few days time and decisions will be taken on the floor of the House". Right at this moment, I truly believe that it's critical to win the debate in the Commons as a precursor to a campaign of public information. To do that, you have to use the systems that MPs are familiar with i.e. lobbying. That is where the maximum effort should be put. We are all trying to seek justice for the 96.
all i'm saying is he's the sort, thats all. maybe it was about heysel maybe i don't know.... but what i do know for certain is I don't want him to make a crude comment cos he and his radio station as quite well knwon for courting publicity through controversy.
Just listening to Keys and Gray about Hillsborough and my heart is at breaking point. Even though Keys is a twat, he's doing a great job with this and I hope theres others listening to the story about Steve looking for his brother in Sheffield. Heartbreaking.....
Afternoon all..I think its fair to suggest Richard Keys put the bell before the end. If these shows highlight the full extent of what ACTUALLY happened at Hillsborough, i'm all for it. However if its being used as a vehicle to drive ratings,then i hope Keys and Gray rot in eternal hell. The bigots(and there are many) will believe the s*n's version of events, because they want to, it suits them and allows there tiny brains to pigeon hole all Liverpool fans and scouser's. The more fortunate among us, know that what happened that day, and the resulting cover up of the truth to hid there own guilt needs to be exposed and the sham needs to be removed. 96 fans went to follow the team they love, 96 fans lost there lives because of others mistakes. They deserve justice, they deserve the truth.
It's now up to Steve Rotherham to call a press conference and identify exactly what these 'shenanigans' are PLUS the names of those individuals who are creating them
he didnt really elaborate, though at first he did say "people downstairs are getting nervous" all of a sudden he changed to the timings of the debates, presumably he was told to shut up or realized he shouldnt really say what he said, apparentely he is trying to find out, but we will know by 10pm tonite, which is the time all business for next week is sorted
