    Richardsons foul on Suarez.
Saw it and thought he should have went, last man simple as that doesn't matter if the player is going away from goal or not. Cheers Phil, I think as bad as he was on the day we would have really struggled without the extra player.
    Carrolls foul on Anton.
A fouls a foul however slight (and it was slight if I'm honest) so again thanks Phil.
    Seb Larssons goal.
Cracker of a goal that got a lot of airtime on MOTD from the totally unbiased BBC . . . . . . . . . .or maybe it wasn't that good then.

All in all I think we rode our luck but dug in second half and deserved the point which is one point more than I thought we would get, roll on next week.

You've missed Gyan getting chopped down by Carragher.

I'll think you find it does matter.

A player can be dismissed for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity, doesn't matter if they are 'last man' or not. No obvious opportunity = no red card. Simple as that.

Have seen players sent off for years for much less than Ferdinand did and for exactly the same, it was a goal scoring opportunity Suarez in my opinion would have got to the ball and got his shot away. Maybe Suarez thought his best chance was to go down with Mignolet closing him down not sure he is that type of player, although the old flashing the card bit when he was fouled could mean he is.

Talc as has been said you missed carragher's shocking foul (which he seems to be able to do with nothing worse than a yellow card) and the fact that Suarez used both arms in charging down Ricco's clearance. Now I understand you can protect you face but there's protecting you face and the ball bouncing out for a throw and it hitting your arms and bouncing into a goalscoring opportunity. It wasn't "accidental" as he put his hands up to stop the ball so where do you draw the line? Common sense would say if you gain an advantage by using arms to protect your face then its a free-kick. If the ball bounces away to relevant safety then play on.

Didn't see it mate MOTD this morning so they won't show anything that gives us a bit of credit will they?
As for Suarez charging down the ball got to agree it should have been a free kick the ref was about 5 yards away from it but gave them the benefit, or just didn't see it down to his assistants doing their jobs yet again.
Also didn't think it was one of the big talking points a talking point yes but, as you say he gets away with it week in week out god knows why. There were probably a few more points as well but those ones are the ones I thought were worth talking about.
Stick by my assessment on a different thread lucky and poor first half more than made up for it second half though and deserved the point.

Stay on his feet and score. Minimal contact and went down to easy. Showed a good angle from behind on MOTD, definate goal scoring opportunity, definate red. Ref got it wrong. Suarez is a cheat who got what he deserved.
