Talking About Managers.

Talking about managers (we've already got an article going about AP) and Statue's (we've already got one going about Wor Jackie), there's talk afoot about another Statue for a former manager and player, Joe Harvey.

Tonight's Chronicle has quite a story about him in it.

Don't think you can give out statues for the sake of it, but no objection on Sir Bobby or Joe Harvey getting them, I read someone on toon forum earlier saying that younger Newcastle fans wouldn't know who Joe Harvey was. As far as I'm concerned any true Newcastle fan would know who Joe Harvey is.

 

I don't think anybody is suggesting giving out a Statue for the sake of it. Joe Harvey led us to glory as a player and a manager.

People might think that is what were doing, but Joe Harvey should have been recognised along time agon IMO.
