Talk sport

Peter Grieve bought an off the shelf public company to buy Hull City. It had no capital and he had a minority share in a small bank. He walked away when asked to buy the SMC for £6 million. I'd say he wasn't a serious buyer. That feeling would be reinforced if his intention was to put Nick Thompson in as chief executive.

Chien Lee was a serious buyer and walked away. I have no idea why but suspect the Allams wanted too much money, aided and abetted by our slide down the table.

The Adam Pearson consortium are waiting till the end of the season I suspect to see which division we are in.

Finally the Allams sold the club to the Dai's but they failed the fit and proper person test.

The Allams will sell when they get the price they want but not before.
Thank you Obadiah.
Can we now concentrate on creating a good atmosphere for tonights League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg in case anyone has forgotten ?

3 things:

1. We have never been relegated in our first season after promotion in the PL.
2. We have never stayed up in the PL when we've had a betting company as our sponsor.
3. Robert Snodgrass has been relegated in his last 2 years in the PL!

He's only had one PL season in which he wasn't relegated.

Obi has a habit of posting opinion as fact.

Chien Lee has walked away hasn't he?

Didn't Adam Pearson do an interview with Humberside talking about the sale?

Didn't we have a sale agreement with the Dai's that fell through?

Finally Peter Grieve. My opinion is he wasn't a serious bidder based on his website, his acquisition of a US public company with no real capital and his association with Nick Thompson. Based on what OLM wrote my opinion is Assem Allam led him up the garden path because he didn't think we was a real bidder either. The end result was the same, Peter Grieve walked away when asked to buy the SMC for £6 million.

Unless Silva gets some money to spend then it must feel like he is on a sinking rowboat up to his his ankles in water trying to get rid of the water with a fimble.

People make out like Snodgrass and Livermore personally accepted the bids that came in for them.

Bids came in and the Allam's accepted them.

That doesn't amount to them trying to be bigger than the club.
Snodgrass declined anew contract and hawked himself to Celtic.
Like it or not he wants more money/ length of contract, no relegation clause than we can give. He wants out it seems, unless Meylers tweets are true.

Ask yourself this........wasn't snoddy concerned about his future this time last year or is it something that has just occurred to him ?

Celtic surely would play him a lot less than us. Do they not pay players **** money in useless jock pounds?
