On facebook there is already talk of relegation from the FL. OK there is good reason for this kind of talk if things were to stay the same both on and off the field but IMO the season is still in it's infancy and things can turn around very quickly - even after January BUT no doubt about it things do have to change, the sooner the better or relegation will become inevetable.

There is still hope even though things look bleak right now.

We can hang on at the bottom till Christmas...........but only if we pick up enough points to be no further behind than we are now.

The obvious problem is that we are getting no points at all.....new club records at home............seven consecutive defeats in all competitions..........and six consecutive defeats in the league..........and this in the basement division.

It is screaming out for a coach to organize some pitiable decisions that are happening at the moment........dribbling across the six yard box (Soukouna) instead of positive first time clearance, result lost ball, bad tackle and penalty, plus now missing the next game which deprives us of one of are best players.

Midfield organization, taking responsibility for your recovery after losing the ball, supporting the attack when going foreward.

Peter Reid could see that the midfield were being to easily bypassed and changing it to try to alter it, and Walton's petulance leaving the pitch............earlier London train then usual then. Ok I might not be fair on Walton but I don't see what he brings to the party.

If no coach with the necessary skills is forth coming soon......Peter Reids position will come into question even though we really can't afford to replace him.

The first thing of course is to get administration behind us and pay regular wages to players and staff. Other bidders, other than Brent should withdraw so this painful experience can be concluded as quick as possible.

The way it's going at the moment, sure it's on everybodys mind but as Plymborn said getting out of admin. is ultra top priority. As for the PB they make you want to :emoticon-0119-puke: but hoping for Brent may be too late so have to stick with them at moment. But who says later on down the road he cannot intervene or someone else for that matter and give Ginger & co. a rough ride.
Just hold on a little longer me thinks! :emoticon-0165-muscl

The problems lie at the front in my opinion not anywhere else. If you score then it takes the presure off the back line who lets face it will make mistakes and give the opposition chances. Every team gives the opposition chances in every match whoever they are. But we are not scoring and to be frank do not even look like scoring. Their goalie made one save all match which was a misplaced cross into the box. The rest of the match he could have pulled up a deckchair. We are not creating chances either which is most worrying. I don't think Feeney has had one opportunity this season so far. Relegation is a posibility and I don't think anyone is kidding themselves at Home Park this season either. The team is young and inexperienced and it shows. Put them up against a few seasoned professionals and they are bossed about with reletive ease. The Ref yesterday was appauling having said that and did us no favours at all. There were several better than half decent shouts for penalties for us which he didn't even entertain. Will somebody tell me how a player gets sent off for an incident in the box and it isn't a penalty for one because I as sure as hell haven't an idea. Their goalie blatantly pushed our man over. It reminded me of a Referee's training video in stage one school. Here is a blatant foul for which a penalty should be awarded. Clearly this Ref didn't attend that lesson. It doesn't however mask the deficiencies in our squad. Walton should be fined but as he hasn't been paid that would be a little hard to do right now. His attitude once again was there for all to see. Not a very good lesson for the kids in the side. All this dragging of feet over the sale is also partly to blame. It has without doubt delayed and stiffled the ability to bring in more seasoned professionals to blend with the kids. We still have the loan window open and the sale needs to be completed before this closes. If it is not then I fear we will be beaten again and again with this squad. I am not going to blame them particularly as I do not think they go out with the intention to lose and I don't think Peter Reid has a lot of choice with what he is doing also. If however things do not change soon then it has Conferenced written all over it.

The Ref probably saw it has a handbag job between Feeney and Richards..........did he not book Feeney first............and did he see Richards as reprisal.......and returning wrong with wrong always gets the worst of it......so a sending off.............it wasn't the first foul done so no penalty.

How did the Ref restart the game ?...........free kick for the defending team or indirect free kick for Argyle.........I don't know.......can you remember ?

It was a goal kick plymborn. I saw the incident clearly and without tinted specs on I can assure everyone. Their man had hold of Feeney all of the match up till then. He pulled Feeney to the floor by his shirt. Feeney did react a bit by holding him down but their man punched him. Not hard but did hit him. The Lino who must have seen it all very clearly did nothing at first until there was a rush of players. Once Ref spoke to him he obviously told him what had happened even though he had not raised his flag once before that. He booked Feeney first because he was the first one to be dealt with after being called over. It was a blatant foul and penalty. The other non decision at the other end was worse as the Ref could not have failed to see the incident. There were only two players there and no goalmouth melee in between. I'm not blaming the Ref for the defeat but I have to wonder what Argyle have to do at home to get a penalty. I think it is a new FIFA rule that Argyle are not allowed one in any circumstances. I should also add that given our penalty record aka the shootout at Exeter, I'm none to convinced we would have scored either anyway but it would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to miss.
