I went to my local Waterstones today and they assure me they can order a copy of Tales from the City from their Castle Meadow branch, I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it!

I wish I lived a bit closer to Norwich, I would definitely have gone to the book launch and met a few legends!

Have read a few excerpts from it and looks terrific. My daughters are coming out here in three weeks and have instructed the to obtain acopy to bring with them. Loved that Delias mum told the club to buy Grant Holt.

Well, I ordered it yesterday at 10 am, they had to get Castle Meadow branch to send it, I got a text at 1311 today to say it had arrived!

I'm mightily impressed with that service! <ok>

Did you buy a copy of 'The Great Norfolk Dumpling Famine' at the same time?

It'd sold out in my local Waterstones. I did manage to pick up a bargain copy of "The Buyers Guide to Suffolk Punch horse-****" for 59p though.

I picked up a copy of The Dead Zone, but it wasn't about Ipswich!

I've just read Holty's chapter and I have to say it's worth getting the book just for that one chapter. I was always a fan, but that has now grown beyond all belief!

    What a man!
