Jonnio, I don't think you have much of a case. You posted under your real name on an internet forum that you would be appearing on the news, you made no secret of it.

You can't have too much of a go at MI5 for not arresting your neighbour before hand, if he had been arrested your whole estate would probably have been up in arms about the arrest of an innocent man and claiming racism. You said yourself that he seemed a good bloke. You can't have it both ways, just look at the BBC news page just now, there is a thing about UK troops detaining known taliban members and lawyers here are trying to get them released, they will then just go out and kill our troops, and people will be complaining that we should never have let them out. If MI5 were to arrest every suspect, half of london would probably be in jail and human rights do gooders would be up in arms.

What exactly could they have done, arrested him and kept him in prison indefinably, in this country that almost impossible, just look and abu hamsa bloke, its hard enough to keep him in jail when he's been convicted of terrorism in another country, this bloke would have been out in months with a lawyer

We want you to post here every hour on the hour, Jono. If you don't check-in on time, we'll assume you've been bundled onto a rendition flight to Camp Bastion. My old mates Bodie and Doyle are still very well connected, and we'll be able to put together a crack team to rescue you. It might take us about 48 hours so, as long as you can handle the water-boarding for that long, you should be OK.
