I reckon there is probably some truth in this - however - following so quickly on the 2 week pay up in cash or cheque season ticket debacle I reckon that a lot of people will be saying that BC wanted to get the cash in his back pocket before the sale goes through. What do you think? Or am I just an old cynic?

I think he's arranging a fatal accident for the photographer. Seriously though I'd be worried about what resources (ã) they could offer Pompey. Most Saints fans feel we escaped from financial worries when ML bought us but it's always left me anxious we're exposed to the whims of a single(ish) person or family. I really do hope Pompey can find a reasonable alternative to the current master of your fate though, but he'll want paying . . . .
Was anyone else listening to Express fm yesterday immediately after the game? As I was leaving Fratton Park, they were saying that they had been informed by the stewards that the deal had been completed yesterday (Saturday). They then didn't bring it up again, but they originally made a big deal of the fact that unoffically the club had been sold.
