    There are very strong rumours going around twitter that a major announcement will be made on 24th regarding a takeover of Newcastle.

    Like I said only rumours so probaly 90% fake but you never know. Apparently people have been asking sky sports journalists on twitter and they have not denied this.

    I dont believe this at all but just thought id let you lot know.

    I've also seen rumours of Enrique and Barton having handed in transfer requests. Why can't we just have a quiet week for once?

    Who's rumouring this on twitter. I have to say apart from the debate over we should think about putting a bid in for Chris Brunt... twitter has been reasonably quiet today on the NUFC front.

    24th though, ay... but that's thursday not our usual weekly friday press release.
