http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13266915.stm The above link is an interview with Lampitt, via the BBC, which is very interesting. It seems that the takeover is very much on, but it remains unknown where they are and how much longer it will take. So all that fuss about an imminent collapse from a russian source has to have been a scare tactic, but quite frankly it didnt really seem to cause too much of a stir amongst us fans. And I feel that Lampitt is handling this in the best way possible, as has all the other things he has done in the past year. I dont quite understand all this anti-Lampitt abuse, cause he is such an improvement on previous regimes. And quite frankly the quieter it is, the better it must be going. If we heard anything then it will be negative but at least we will know! All that false promise crap from fahim and mirage really was terrible in the long run, mainly cos it made us all very bitter and sceptical! So just sit tight boys and girls and hopefully the new season and push for promotion can start very soon! Rant over and out
Things need to happen within the next couple of weeks or we'll miss the starting gun yet again. I'm still not optimistic about it all. Remember their attempt to purchase our little Cherry friends down the road a couple of years back? Have they really got the resources and commitment that this club craves?
