Billy marra, I am sure that talks have taken place but I have no faith in that crooked bastard letting the club go unless anyone meets his price. I hope the ****er loses a fortune because there seems no end in sight currently
I really hope not but it does have the feeling of a big build up and at the end of the month to be let down. It just amazes me that for all the takeover talks appearing to be happening at football clubs at the moment the only whispers are from Nick Barnes and a few people on message boards, to be fair the people are well connected so not saying its not true just seems to be getting ready for another fall at the last hurdle. Barnes is hardly sounding ultra positive.
Wise man, I'm equally sure that a deal has been agreed, but Covid has temporarily got in the way. No matter, 'cos we're still a bargain for anyone with the ambition, the vision and the bank balance.....even with a little sweetener for the seller. Things are at the bottom at the minute, which is when sound businessmen make their move. When all this virus stuff comes to an accommodation....which it will, sooner rather than later....the groundswell of activity will give clubs, including ours, a massive boost, and we'll be in prime position to drive ourselves onwards and upwards..... I'm sure of it! KTF.
I honestly think we are prime for a takeover mate, which makes this all so frustrating. We are a massive club at rock bottom, better than the likes of Sheff Utd, Leicester and dare I say it, on a par with Man City when they were down in the dumps
Well apparently a couple of USA actors (Ryan Reynolds) one of them may takeover Wrexham for £2m... you could not make it up...
None of this cryptic ****e Wheatsheaf, just tell us what you know/think or I will kick your ****ing windows in
Agreed. It'd be interesting to know how much these USA fellas are paying for control of Burnley.....if it happens. They're a PL club, obviously, but lacking in player investment, according to their manager, and limited in the numbers they can bring in for their support....the ground holds 22,500,I think. Being already in the PL,any player acquisition is going to cost big money just to keep them up,and even if they win games, they don't have the capacity for a big following. Whereas us........we can build a side without having to pay PL wages or transfer fees and, importantly, can introduce young, talented players without them having to be bullied by the PL stalwarts, before they've found their feet. See how much of a bargain we are!! ****ing hell Glen.....just get it done FFS!
no it wasn’t. Accidental. He’s always 100% right when he gets the odd snippet of news too. Magnus (unfortunately) is wrong, sorry.
