Had my first look at the Waccoe TOMA summary page in ages ...

    http://www.waccoe.com/topic/281726-official-toma-summary-thread/?page=2

Might have just timed it brilliantly. 2 very interesting posts gone in around 2am this morning ...

    From the poster @Mighty Kippax

"I have been watching the developments with interest, without adding anything.

As some of you will know on here, I deal with some of the major law firms as a matter of course in my working life. Some will also know that I have not been to many games within the Italian crooks regime.

However, today is a day of two major steps in the right direction, for the last 2 days Bird and Bird have had a data room open with a team of completion lawyers trying to push a deal to close, there is a consortium in place, with a name well known to most businessmen in gods own county, and a significant investor backing the deal. From what I understand this is a game changer, and if it goes through will change the club for the better.

    There is no Chinese involvement.

the second step forward is expect a statement from GFHC very soon, which will lift the lid on some dealings with KWB and Davie boy.

    interesting times ahead.

And for those that may be sceptical, I am a family man in my 40s with no need to bullshit. I love this club as much as the majority of you. I will only post when I know something of genuine worth."

    And confirming ....

A consortium.........we're stuffed if it's a consortium. Wouldn't be surprised to hear someone crooked is involved.

Verity, Pearson, Farnan and Cellino all shared a box at York races yesterday.
I wouldn't get too excited by that on its own, they have done this for the last three years at the Ebor meeting.

No matter who it is, it would be great news if true.

We already ain't getting the playoffs this season and if it helps crystallise cellino and GFHs mind a couple more defeats might be a good thing. They won't see a return on their investment without promotion so might as well cut and run,

Yawn. Believe it all when I see it. And the word consortium again. Feckin brilliant. How about Cellino. Gah and another half dozen in charge Yippee <whistle> and as usual just after transfer window closes

thanks Jocko, interesting news ... for me I'd take a billionaire who puts £100m into the club ahead of another consortium struggling to fund the squad ... Cellino doesn't look like budging, so could be he's selling some shares to raise funds ... here's hoping

    Nail on head!

**** performances, **** results, unrest growing and Cellino people leak another TOMA story that will disappear as soon as results improve.
Not sure how many more times some will fall for lies from Cellino. Cant understand people are still willing to give him the benefit of doubt.

Last Thursday night I was in a resteraunt in Manchester with some mates, and Howard and his wife were at the next table. Didnt look like he was in the process of taking over the club. In fact he had gotten old Im afraid, but he was pleased with Monk and thats the only reference he made to the club.

Me too Doc and not forgetting Harvey's involvement either. I was just thinking this morning that we bash the players for acting greedy.....but what about the likes of Bates, Harvey, Warnock etc...

Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is thought to be considering a Serie B project
The ex-Cagliari supremo could start a new project in the second tier Serie B.

The Italian entrepreneur has been a controversial figure since buying Leeds in February 2014 and made Garry Monk his seventh manager in June.

Many fans want him to sell and may get their wish if he returns to Italy.

Two perfect examples of the lazy journalism we spoke of yesterday. Do these guys dream this stuff at night and try make a story about it. Funny thing, a few of the usual twitter twats are getting their knickers in a twist over this. Helps them pass the time I suppose

Thing is Eire, with all due respect, we're not that newsworthy as a lower mid table championship club so who could be feeding these snippets to the papers?
