    Afternoon chaps, hope you're all well and good on this Saturday!

    I just had a text off an ex-colleague from my the hotel I just left. And, he was telling me that David Craig the skysports reporter is staying in the hotel for the St Johns races in York. I believe that straight away, because he along with David O'Leary (Grumpy ****ing bastard btw) is best friends with the General Manager of the hotel. So he and O'leary stay quite often. Anyway, the text in question, was that David Craig had been speaking to my ex-colleague, and mentioned that the signing of Mevlut Erding is looking very unlikely. Which tallies with the link in the earlier thread. He's also said, that we're looking to sign a chap called Peter Utaka from a club in Denmark. I've never heard of him, so cant really say much on that. However, one thing that he said that got has intrigued me is that we're apprantely wanting to try and sign Daniel Osvaldo, now all I know about this kid, is that he's from Espanyol, and banged a few goals in last season 14(?). It sounds rather interesting.

    Me and the guy who text were never like bestmates, just workmates. He only had my number incase he needed a shift swapping. And besides, he supports Polonia Warsaw. So, theres no reason why he'd want to wind me up. He just text me cos he thought i'd be interested.

    Make of it, what you will. I just thought you chaps may be interested.

    Utaka used to play for Portsmouth didnt he? **** as I recall. Cant comment on Osvaldo but it would make sense if Carr's watched him.

    I thought that was John Utaka? Hope it was, otherwise...im worried haha.

    *NEWSFLASH*

    Just after I posted this, I became abit skeptical. So, I rang the hotel, and have been told a David Craig is staying in the hotel. And, he's also a VIP. So, it all tallies along nicely I suppose. Just hope the text wasnt aload of complete B/S.

    But didn't Fulham have a 12m or something like that bid rejected? Would be a bit expensive.
