Mason is a keeper until we know which division we are to play next season.

Wonder if Solskjaer sees him in his own image? A relatively slightly built striker just like him who has the knack of scoring goals at the right time.

I'd like to think that he could be brought on in that role and stay with the club.

In the starting line up or off the bench, he could do the business if we played a different system. I can't see where he'd have fitted in yesterday for instance, but against somewhat less exalted opposition, the setup could easily be arranged to accomodate him.

I think he should be kept - Vince doesn't need the money right now.

I see him in the super-sub role at the moment but he still has potential but not sure he can cut it at premiership level.

I think that's spot on - then if you do stay up he can be loaned back out again if need be

I don't think that Joe is capable of playing Premiership football and for his own sake should be loaned out or even sold so that he can find a new club to further his career.

Drop Muych back alongside Medel and leave him roam behind FC, though he'd be more able to roam behind a striker that could hold the ball up rather than run the channels. Start Kim in there for 60, then bring Joe on.

I would take the money. I think it's time we unloaded several fringe players.

Keep the lad in case we go down. Is it the case that as fringe players are sold there will be more than £25m for Ole to spend this month or are player sales part of the £25m?

I just wonder how firm these "budgets" actually are. I don't think a couple of mill (as long as it was approved) over the top would be seen as a problem as long as it did the trick and we were playing Prem football next season.

If Ole blows the cash a la QPR last season and still fails to keep us up, he'd be regarded as a failure by Tan (and probably the fans for that matter).

If he goes the other way and underspends on his "old contacts" and his decisions don't do the business, would that be a bigger failure?

I'm sure if Ole went to Tan with the right name then extra funds would be found, money won't be the issue here, every player here and coming here have a real fight on their hands and need to be up and running, no way Joe will figure.
But I am against selling him, again, we don't need to as money in the amount he is paid isn't an issue IMO.
So keep and loan out, see how we go.

I would keep Joe for now but not object to another loan to give him game time. Bolton would like him back but he won't go until the cup tie is over. He could actually get a game against them next week.

As for Bournemouth I think they had Joe in mind if Grabham went to Brighton. He has signed a new contract with them now and is staying so Joe probably not needed. The £1.5m fee is neither here not there. Unless Ole has another bargain lined up from Scandinavia it wouldn't buy us much in the UK market.

Its yet to be seen if Joe is good enough for the PL.

If as seems likely we are in The Championship next season then he will be a big asset.

We need a plan for an immediate return. Keeping good affordable players like Mason is essential.

We should be trying to get rid of the likes of Odemwingie.

Cornelius apart (and the jury is still out), Odem has got to be the worst signing for this Prem season. He's added nothing to the side when he's played.

I know Brayford cost about the same, but at least we haven't been forced to watch him.

No need to offload odem yet IMO.

He's had few opportunities to play in an attacking system in a position he's happy in.
I thought he was unlucky to be a half time sub against WH.

He crossed the ball FC was within inches of burying first half and went on a decent run into the box which led to another chance. He's frustrating but he can hurt defences at PL level. There's a reason MM and Ole kept trying to get him in their starting line ups. Needs a few weeks in our new attacking setup before we write him off IMO.

His confidence can't be at its best right now either.
