Just watched his interview on Goals on Sunday and it made me proud to be a Sunderland fan. People have came out with their opinion of him after his recent campaign against illegal broadcasting but after watching the video you can just see he loves Sunderland and every decision he makes is for the good of the club and "his people" that he referred to us lot as.

We are extremely lucky to have a such a committed bloke at the top with business brain and a genuine passion for the job he is doing.

There may only be a point or two difference between us and the mags but behind the scenes we are leagues ahead! They have a circus of fools at the top, spearheaded by a man who is bordering on maniac. They're doing well in the league and they've had a very good season but in terms of sustainability, I just can't see the club keeping it up for long.

Then you look at our top men. Ellis Short, the wealthy owner who will put his hand in his pocket but stays away from the football side of the business and Quinn who has played for and managed (albeit unsuccessfully lol) the club now linking Bruce to Short. They won't blow the cash on ridiculous wages etc and they won't be the laughing stock of the country through their antics behind-the-scenes.

Looking forward to the rest of the season starting against the scousers. It's virtually a sell out already!!! Let's get a win in front of that crowd and bring them all back to fill the SOL week-in week-out!!! and if you haven't seen the interview, it's on youtube somewhere. Watch it.

    KEEP THE FAITH

Agree with you Mr SAFC but would have hoped that the stability and good governance behind the scenes had equated to a better position on the table and more air between us and skunkcastle.

Perhaps I’m just asking for too much?
