Hi guys, thanks for the concern Masky. Heartbreaking news about Nepal, having been to many of the places affected, it is awful to see the devastation there. I am safe and well in Bangkok. My visit to Nepal was all too brief and I want to visit again. It is heart warming to see the response effort so quickly put in place and hopefully the Nepalese people will be able to pick up their shattered lives very quickly. I have met many Nepalese during my time in the army and they are fantastic people. I visited some of the towns that supply the majority of men in the Ghurka regiments. It is an awesome place and I encourage anyone who has the time to visit. A certain level of fitness is required but you can lose the extra pounds by walking to the villages.
