I'll no doubt get some **** for this, but one thing I have seen in my years watching football, is when a team is under pressure, its a really good idea to put them under greater pressure Don't let them play! Close them down instantly every moment they have the ball, defend in numbers all over the pitch. From the back to the middle to the front. Don't give the opposition a ****ing second. Every player on the field must be of this mind. This will lead to confidence and with that the goals will come. Closing the enemy down should be the first and instantaneous thought on every players mind.
