When I enter these Prediction Leagues I invariably find myself 25 points adrift after the first 5 rounds or so as there is no form to go on and I cannot keep abreast of transfers etc. You need a lot of luck also but I have lost many points with last minute goals and also won a few. They are good for all message boards.
TigerRoo is in Australia therefore is 12 hours ahead, therefore knows all the results before they even kick off over here, therefore he's top of the table. Ban please.
Drats! Sprung again! I did claim this once and received a message from a bloke on the Hull City Boards who offered me a small fortune and half the proceeds from the First Division of the Football Pools if I would send him the results. I told him that we got the results at about 5.00am on Saturday morning which would be far too late for him to get his coupon in. He told me he could do it 'on-line' but I said I had a better offer from another bloke. Funnily enough, I am leading the Hull City Prediction League by 5 points with I believe 2 more 'forecast weeks' to go plus an extra "Play-off's for all league games". I have four other competitors within 10 points so it is very close.
