    Kill joy. You wait until you retire and what you are having for dinner is the highlight of the day. I do wish that you international business men would be more tolerant of us lesser mortals who have nothing to do except work out every permutation as to how City plan to "throw it".
    Another typical City game this Saturday opposition have majority of possession and we happen to score more goals than them. Still statistically speaking it obviously pays. Happy days

    If we beat Preston, Swindon have to win every single game and we have to lose every single game and even then that's to finish on exactly the same points so they would have to score a bucket load too.

    the table doesn't tell lies... just bends the truth till all have played the same
    3 types of lies.. guess the 3rd is the title misleading lie! ..:emoticon-0143-smirk

    Stats...nothing wrong with them, they are the basis for what makes the world go around!

    But if we lose every game after that by one goal and Swindon win even by one goal there will be a swing of 10 goals

    swindlers are toast. spent to much time winding up the opposition, well trying to wind up the opposition.
    With all the stigma around the last game it made sense that the powere that be would check the camera's more so this game ..branco must be 1 sock short of a pair...:emoticon-0138-think

    I was only using those figures as an illustration, if you really wanted to be clever you could of picked up that Swindon would have more than five games and us less than five.

    JGF would off, so his spreadsheet wins

    Not trying to be clever just stating the fact that their goal difference is 24 worse than ours

    Incidentally the hierarchical criteria for promotion is
    • points scored
    • goal difference
    • goals scored
    • games won

    there is good thread on the gas board about this, when all is equal they have to play a one off on a neutral ground so differing from the gas thread if second and third went to a play off....???????
