His tantrums and opinions are sometimes inexcusable, but his talent can be world-class. Don't get me wrong, he has infuriated me at times, but has also sent me home with big smiles and lots to gloat about!!

We all went to games last season with Taarabt in mind; was he going to run the show like he did against Reading or flop completely, but the suspense was definitely exciting.

I reckon with his stock value going down by day (and he ain't gonna sit in the reserves is he?!), he must be chomping at the bit. Remember some of the balls he set Mackie and Routledge up with? SWP and HH could fill their boots.

Surely he was expecting to not be in starting XI, reckon its time to give the lad another chance to show us what he has got. Just a shame that he didn't get the chance against WBA.....gonna be tough against Man Yoo and Liverpool .

Therefore I am Yay. For the time being......!!

Nay, but yesterday he should have come on. WBA were giving us time on the ball perfect for taarbs, but i think his time is up, he is to slow. Prem teams are to clever and mark him out the game.

Yay, for me. But almost certainly going to be a Nay for NW and QPR.

Nay to start. Yay to bring on if we're desperate (which we may well be at some point in the next two games).

I just wonder whether Taarabt's attitude will change IF he gets the opportunity to perform in first team. Liverpool in my opinion would be a good stage for him, after all a full Anfield might just bring the best out of him...

Just wonder whether I should change my monikar to Eternal Optimist........

QPR999 - agreed, but surely his time on he bench will only wind him up more and maybe NW will release him at Anfield with an endorsement that if he proves he can play on a stage such as Anfield, then maybe he can perform in France or Italy

Thought yesterdays game was perfect for him.

Lacked imagination in the middle and we just seemed like we were hitting the lines or hoping HH would flick it on to put someone through.

Why dont we play the 4-4-1-1 that Spurs do.

    Cerny
    Young Gabb Ferdinand Traore
    SWP Barton Faurlin Mackie
    Taarabt
    HH

Play Taarabt in the VDV role. Makes sense in my opinion

Agreed. Definitely worth a go!! That can be very fluid too, changing from 4-4-1-1 to 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 as the game dictates. A rigid 4-4-2 is too easy to pass through imo.

Agreed. And we all know who is in charge of THAT circle don't we? (Joey, who had a poor game).

Agree that looks a good option, or a 4-2-3-1 with Adel in the centre of the 3. It looks to me like Adel maybe close to a recall - and we need him in form after how we have played last 2 games.

Do we? Of course we don't.

There could be any number of things going on in the background. Frankly I give Warnock more credit than being Joey Barton's lap dog, jumping when he shouts.

But I am not someone who hates Joey Barton and loves Adel Taarabt. (Neither am I someone who hates Adel Taarabt and loves Joey Barton.)

I will, however, come out with a "Nay" as I believe that the only was to play Taarabt is to do what we did last season - route everything through him and work extra hard to cover for him. It will not work in the Prem. Just look what Savage did to him last season. There are lots more like Savage in the Prem.
