How to win friends and influence people (part 94) by Adel Taarabt... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...se-midfielder-reveals-hes-ready-time-QPR.html Having spat out the dummy he's thrown the rattle as well, tipping us for relegation and basically sticking two fingers up all round. He must be a psychiatrist's dream patient, a schizophrenic, manic depressive showing signs of ADHD, ODD and totally delusional. Or to sum him up in Shepherd's Bushspeak: A f*ckin' nutcase!
Who have we bought so far under the goons though. I think if I put myself in his shoes I would feel exactly the same way. I dont blame him, I blame the owners.
Mind you, if he goes to Newcastle I doubt he'd last five minutes with his attitude. Can you imagine him throwing a strop with Joey Barton? As Warnock has said, if he did go he'd be back on loan by Christmas...
And what a surprise to see 5 threads about the welsh on your forum a few days ago , all the anti welsh crap you lot have come with have won you no friends, we don't like bigots! And whilst most don't give a monkeys what happens to your club, some on the swans board will be laughing at you.
I would like him to repay the faith warnie has shown him in the last season or so. This, if true, is an insult and a real slap in warnies face, its time for warnie to stop treating him with kid gloves. Part of me says get rid of him, let him be someone else's headache, adel needs to remember: not all managers are like warnie, it will be his PL wake up call. I'm not too sure how many, if at all, PL games he has played prior to joining us. Another part of me wants adel to stay, he is an exciting player to watch, and he has scored some fabulous goals for us. I would like to see adel give us at least until January the earliest before he exits LR. Adel is a big fish in our small pond, but I think he will struggle in the ocean that is the PL, especially without warnie. Also, surely there must have been a financial incentive for adel, when he signed for us. Something along the lines of: once promoted to the PL your wages will increase to x amount --- or am I just being simple?
he has ambitionsfor arsenal and chelsea but would settle for newcastle not too ambitious if you ask me would have thought he would be getting more cash for playing in the prem ..could justify 40% on sts then remember this storys from the daily mail..but if it is true let the ungrateful ****er go
Guys, it's the Daily Mail for goodness sake! For those of you who have not seen this, give yourselves a treat! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eBT6OSr1TI Enjoy.
I'm not sure that he'll be quite the star he was when he's up against top class defences anyway. Robbie Savage made him look very ordinary. Also, he's quoted in the Mail as saying "I don't have to go to a big club yet". Newcastle with 50000 every home game are pretty big I'd say. He's probably alienated himself with the geordies already. Class player, prat personality I'm afraid
That's deep Hounslow. But I do agree with you. I think Adel had it seemed settled on the idea of staying and until this article which has since been scattered around the internet with even the Newcastle Vital page picking it up has made nervous. I'm of no doubt I want him to stay for at least til January. He won us games last year and I'm sure he'll do the same. Fortunately for us if he does stay it might take him a few weeks maybe a month or two to find his feet therefore not showing enough to earn him a January switch. Case of one step back two steps forward for the club.
Was this an interview with this reporter from the Mail or something he has cobbled together from somewhere else. Taking Adels spoken English into consideration which is about as good as Capellos is what he has supposed to have said what he meant. If it is true and he does move on which I hope he doesn't he will probably end up as a bench warmer as would any other manager know how to motivate him.
If the article is true, and there probably is some doubt about that, then get rid of him. If hid heart is not there and it's become just a money thing then it's time to part ways. The man/boy is a foll and whoever his agent is, is not helping. Yes he was your talisman last season but I think keeping him would be a mistake and he will become more of a liability when things go against him.
David McIntyre @davidmcintyre76 David McIntyre Taarabt doin all he can to avoid ending up back at #QPR. Which makes this summer no different to last summer&the one before. Still no offers
"I do not need one of the very big clubs at this stage." At that would endear him to Newcastle fans how?
