interesting reports the Taarabt thing's dead. Always been ultra cynical it would happen & even I started to think they'd do a deal.

Good news. I am praying its dead. With the apparent no investment in any players I think it is key we keep him. Without Taraabt we will go down. If we were to re-invest the money n 4 or so quality players we might be ok but as this obviously isnt going to happen we need to keep him.

Great. He will keep us up and be sold for £30m next summer. The Mittals will be in charge by then and Warnock will have a £50m transfer kitty. Happy days are here again, are here again, are here again..................

Dreaming!! But come September 1st, if hes a still a Hoop, id be ecstatic! Especially as we wouldn't have seen any of the cash from this sale for re-investment in the playing staff.

Agree with Northolt. Brinkmanship is the name of the game with anything Flav is involved with but Ecclestone will kill him if he walks away from a pot of cash.

Can't help thinking that any deal to sell the club is dependent on Adel going so that Flab and Bern can leave with the dosh from the sale. So I still expect him to go. Would be great to see how he'd do in the prem though!!

Talk sport just reporting deal is still on :( As suggested, looks like they are just haggling for price.

1707: FOOTBALL - Sky Sports News are reporting that Paris St Germain have made a formal bid of £8.7m for QPR forward Adel Taarabt.

That's funny, we've been talking about £15m for the last month. Leaves £5.22m for the goons after Spuds have had their 40%. not worrth selling at that price IMO.
