Man Utd spent two seasons watching Taarabt ... Arsenal have also been looking. No doubt I am certain they will be looking again when he rises as he is at Milan

Good for the club as his price will be high now.... as it should because the boy has the flair and arrogance to talk him to the very top ... He has it alright now watch him fly

Has the potential to be as good as anyone ... of course not a legend to many now but he will grow into that. Never saw Maradona who is a legend my point is on this platform he will make it ... I base that on his natural talent ... his vision and skills are already as good as any of these players. Milan should i hope bring him on a lot and then we will see until he fails I am backing 100% to be a world great... most in the game know he has to achieve this ... How fickle the footballing world is as after just 4 games he has won over the fans.

Seriously give his lad the platform he will do more than deliver

Unfortunately that is incorrect Odders. If we leave the Championsh*t out of the discussion (because we can't be talking about a top player by referencing a 2nd tier league surely), Taarabt spent more time benched under COLIN than he did on the pitch. It was coming up to Christmas that he started publicly courting other Clubs, then came the infamous Craven Cottage meltdown and that did it for COLIN. Fulham got their own dose of Tarra-Turbulence this season.

The boy was unmanageable because his ego wouldn't allow him respect the Clubs he was at. He obviously felt he was bigger than them and maybe, just maybe, he'll do something where he is now because they're a beast of a Club.

And I mean this hand on heart: I genuinely really hope he plays to his potential at Milan and becomes the great player he undoubtedly can be.

Once the label of world class is applied then it won't take long and he will be comparable to these great players.... Four will turn into forty if he stays fit.

He has a brilliant centre of gravity, awareness and a skill set that isn't matched that i can see in European Football.

So proud he was QPR. I don't care what he calls himself he is arrogant for sure but density will see him good

Taarabt could easily play in the Premier League. Imagine him in behind Remy at Arsenal or in behind Suarez and Sturridge at Liverpool.

I agree that the slower pace of the games in Italy (and probably Spain) possibly suit his game better, but he's good enough to play in any league. He just needs the right coach and right team. He's hard work to manage, so many coaches won't want to touch him.

But he's fat and arrogant so let's be honest here both of you. If he came back to us and Tony wanted too much to be able to sell him, not the first time that's happened of course, you and Queens would be the first ones on his case. So drop the false praises for the guy. It's mildly nauseating.

firstly Yorkie, please dont speak on my behalf.

Secondly, I still dont think he would make a good Prem player. He's had enough chances remember, 5 diffrent managers at 2 difrent clubs so I think he had more than a "fair crack of the whip" dont you.

Finally, if he does make it in italy (its early days yet) as did Jaun Sebastion Veron, Djemba Djemba and countless other premiership flops it certaainly does not mean he can play in the Prem.

the guy has skill, but we all knew that anyway...his problem is his mental state. He honetly believes he is better than the rest of the world does.

Leaving aside the ridiculous Maradona and pele arguments, then yes. he may well make it in Italy and maybe he has got his head right now...Lets wait for a few more games before declaring him the Messiah eh.....?i seem to remember Hughes having a very similar impact on him.<ok>

Yeah, but you just cant understand what anyone says, everyone just walks around uttering complete tosh, and everyone agrees with you, uttering complete tosh in reply, and walk away, not understanding what you said, or what the other guy said, but feeling pleased for having a conversation.

There's no need to get narky because we had a disagreement about Flyer on the other thread, Yorkie. This is a different issue.

He was fat and arrogant with us. Do you not agree with that? That never diminished his undoubted ability though, which I never failed to mention when criticizing him.

And yes, if he came back tomorrow I wouldn't want him and would indeed be the first one on his case. You're totally right there. He can play as well as he likes elsewhere but just like Granero and others, if he don't do it for us I'm not interested. My loyalty is always to the Club, never to any players. They are just temporary custodians of the shirt and should respect it as much as we do. If they don't they can sling their hook, no matter how bloody good they are.

I can't be any clearer than that Yorkie lad.

Why are managers paid millions a year only to bomb out players that are difficult to manage?

Why do people get on the back of players like Taarabt who will do nothing half the time but will then do something sublime to win a game?

Why the **** have we got rid of Taarabt under the illusion of Redknapp wanting the 'right sort' and replaced him with Niko 'still fat in February' Kranjcar, Yossi Benayoun and Ravel Morrison, a player with all the same issues Taarabt has?

I'm ok, my wife's just ordered me one of those Stockman full length waxed coats. I already have the full range of headwear from the leather outback wide brimmed hat to the waxed cap, and the fingerless sheepskin gloves. No weather can touch me now. I'll look like an even more decrepit Clint Eastwood in "Unforgiven" striding around Leamington Spa and Shepherd's Bush. No way are my kids going to be embarrassed and insist on walking at least 30 yards away from me.

Isn't it great caring less and less as you get older?
