The irony of that asshole slagging training that he never took part in. Maybe out in that heat he's managed to sweat off the two stone of fat he was carrying around just by sitting in the center circle
He said something similar when he joined Fulham. Look where that got him. I hope that he can turn his career around and set stadiums alight ( although I'm not too keen on arsonist's ) but I doubt it. He will revert to form before the seasons out. He'll make a good impression at the 'Stadio de Luz' but it will soon peter out. His advisor's will be trying to move him on in January.
I am still a fan of Adel when it comes to football, he has a fantastic talent. Other than that he's a complete arse and should now shut his pie hole and get on with playing.
Where did he say that? Source? It's 35 degress where I am sitting (in the shade) in Majorca and a meagre 33 in Lisbon. I doubt they are training very hard, which would suit Adel down to the ground. But if he's comparing it to last year's pre season, I'm pretty sure he's right. He's a complete dickhead, but I'll always have a soft spot for him.
