The kid is a first class prick, he has the world at his feet literally.
Why can't he just knuckle down and possibly earn a dream move whilst help cement our PL place
He is a selfish little boy, personally I do not want him to go, but I am getting a bit pissed with his attitude

As much as I am an admirer of his talent, I have to agree, he's already gone in my eyes also.

Looks like spuds knew what they were doing as well. They too obviously recognised his undoubted potential by inserting a 40% sell on clause. Can't see any team (even PSG) spending that amount of money on him. He is still totally unproven at the top level. Loads of talent but no work rate.

That's exactly what his problem is & why he's not setting the Prem on fire. In the Championship he had freedom/time & we could indulge playing him as the upsides far exceeded the downside. In the Prem you need all players working for the team just to survive, something he isn't keen on doing. Can't see a top team coming in for him unless he changes his ways, take Barca for example & look at work rate of Xavi/Iniesta etc - that's what it takes.

At some time in the future he will find the discipline and or the set-up to make his huge talent truly work at the most senior level. When that happens we will look back and tell everyone that 'I was privilged to watch the great Taarabt play for QPR'. In the meantime I share the same frustration as everyone else and can see no other outcome other than his departure in January. NW has been treading a tight-rope with regard to managing the boy but I think even he has not been able to find the right balance this season and that has permitted Taarabt to become even more self-absorbed than ever. He used too light a touch when the player has been out of control IMO.

hard to see what kind of a touch would work with him tbh.
Fining him, suspending him, what other options does Warnock have? Taarabt has to make himself reachable because at the moment he is not. He has dug himself a crater and has tied himself down. He is the only one who can change that.

Hard to disagree with any of that but at the same time as going on national TV to haul Traore overt the coals about not thinking about the team first, Warnock was also to be heard excusing Taarabt's much poorer behaviour with 'Well, Adel will be Adel'. Better to have tackled the problem head on at that time and risk him walking away for good to the current situation where no one can see a way back for him anyway.

The problem with players like him and say Tevez is that they can hold their respective clubs to ransom. With the contracts of today they can only be fined two weeks wages at the most, and as they have cost the clubs x number of millions the clubs can't afford to just cancel their contracts. They just don't want to play but still collect their inflated wages. The other side of the coin is that if other clubs see the discord then they are going to bid low because the selling club is in the weaker position.
It will be a shame to see him go but we are not like Man City in being able to just stick him in the reserves to see if he comes to his senses.
We all know if he had requested to go and then played blinders for us his status would be sky high and he could pick any team in the world to go to. But the way he is right now there will be lots of clubs put off because of his attitude.
Right now we appear to play better without him. Such a shame I was looking forward to see how progressed in the PL.

Unfortunately it is only QPR that are going to loose out here. By him not playing and not producing his value is depreciating. His behaviour has meant warnock had no option but to drop him in my eyes and rightly so. Walking out of the ground at half time cos you have been subbed is no way to behave and shows no respect for our club, for me that was a stretch too far.

No doubts Adel got us up last year and was the difference but NW is no longer held to ransom by his ability. Its a crying shame as we would benefit from Adel plying his trade for us, and would'nt it be fantastic if he came back into the side showing some pride and application to the club he once skippered, i just don't see it happening at present ( although i truely hope i'm wrong ).

Not sure about that myself. He's a punk. The sooner he goes the better.

He cost 1 mill and has already made us 50 mill in return (that Spurs can't touch).

With Adel, it could only take a minute to win a game and get rave reviews (despite his lack of work rate).

Pain in the arse but, unless he's kicked his last ball for us, could still remind us that he's the most gifted player we've had for 20 years.

Yes. Still an absolute steal. We'd have struggled to make the top 6 without him last year.

I'm not sure if Adel's mindset has been right since the summer. Even Warnock thought that he'd been sold and was surprised to see him turn up for the new season. If Adel had an eye on a summer move which never materialized then I reckon he's just been counting down the days until the winter window opens and he can leave.

Last season was the best that I have seen and I can't hate him but I'm resigned to seeing him go. Sad but that's life.

If Adel does want to leave, then surely the best way to get yourself noticed is to get your head down and work your wotsits off. That would bring good publicity, your name on backpages of sports rags, on Talksport and other media that is available....but hey ho, what do I know. I would have jus loved the opportnity to play for my team
Hopefully we will get to see him score a hatrick in the blue and white hoped shirt before or if he departs

I hope he will be on the bench tomorrow and I also have a gut feeling we could see a bit of magic in the last 20 minutes. Lets hope my gut is telling the truth or it could be a touch of wind. :)
