The mercurial one can go if he wants says Warnock: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15296160.stm He's gonna have to perform between now and January to attract any interest so let's hope he starts filling the shop window against Blackburn tomorrow!
I don't think there's anything new here tbh. But I agree that, if he wants a big move in January, he will need to put in a lot of very good performances in over the next few games. That can only be good for us imo.
We can't really lose when it comes to Adel staying or going. He won us promotion last season so has earned us a fortune, plus his signing fee of less than 1 million can only mean a profit, even with Tottenham's 40% sell on clause. But if he stays he'll still help us become stronger as he can only get better. But how much better depends on how much his attitude improves. He could go all the way, but it's just as likely that he'll end up stuck in a middle of the road team if he can't learn to behave and improve his commitment to a team.
Neil will keep up this whole "you can go if you want but need to prove yourself first" line because its how he tries to motivate Adel. Doesn't mean he actually wants to sell.
