Started yesterday and today there's been bit of a shock......Oman playing their first ever game at a global tournament have beaten Ireland by 2 wickets with 2 balls to spare........wowzers...... As the beeb text put it "The giant slayers from past tournaments have become the slayed giants...." The RTE commentator has described Ireland's performance with the ball as shocking........
Wow!! Ireland have always put up a great show in the one day tournaments. Has their team become a lot weaker of late?

Sorry to hear about your losses Stainsey. To be honest, cricket is a huge minority sport over here. I know about two cricket clubs. I didn't even know they were playing till I read this. The joys of sport eh, the little guy sometimes beats the big guy. C'est la vie.
Anyone been following this? The New Zealand side look good, twice they have defended modest totals, 120 odd against India and now 140 odd against Australia...... England play South Africa later this afternoon..... With all these tight finishes how is anyone supposed to get any work done?
