    Let panic commence...

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...ch-szczesny-pulls-out-of-poland-squad?cc=5739

"Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has pulled out of Poland's friendlies against South Korea and Belarus with a back injury.

Szczesny, 21, was criticised for letting in a long-range goal in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham this weekend, but has received rave reviews for his recent performances for the Gunners.

He has played six times for Poland, but the official Polish FA website said he has pulled out of the squad with a back injury and coach Franciszek Smuda has called up Genk goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski as his replacement."

He might still be back for the Sunderland game.

One positive, he will have time to rest. I think... it is not serious. For all we know it could be another plan by Arsene to keep him out of the internationals... waiting for RVP to get injured now as well.

  7. Our injuries seem never to end and where some are concerned I wonder if our players may not benefit by some martial arts training where one is taught how to break fall.....

Flappy looked like a good keeper before Szczesny took over. Just have to hope that he doesn't revert back to his old self.

fabianski needs a run of games to become decent. But given a choice between Fabianski with a run of games under his belt, or an injured Wojciech Szczesny, i'd take Szczesny every time.

Yep. I'd rather Vito than Fabianski though, so i may be biased against that useless pile of ****e that masquerades as our 2nd keeper.

Nah you are basing that on the period where he was letting everything in, after that he showed he could be a good keeper

Did you not spot the awesome breakfall that van Persie did over the keeper when Ramsey tucked in the goal at the weekend? Watch a replay and look out for it!!

I'd rather Chesney than Fabianski. He's the only player in the team playing with confidence at the moment. He's simply outstanding. Fabianski proved an able backup last season however, and I gained a LOT of confidence in him. I think we're all a bit nervous about him after he's been away so long.
