We don't know ho we will buy or indeed who will go but lets assume Sess stays. So we have a goalkeeper and back 4, what then? How do we use Sess because that will determine formation and summer buys. Do we go 4-4-1-1 with Sess behind a striker, what type of striker, a big target or poacher? Do we play 4-3-3 with Sess behind two strikers, who do we bring in for those two and what about Mclean? Do we go 4-4-2, is Sess a striker on on the wing? What is the best formation and position for The Sess man? * All replies will be read but may not be commented on and any original photos cant be returned. Cost may be more on a mobile.
The great Sess debate... For me it's a 4-4-2.. Two strikers, of which Sess is not.. A midfield of r/w (no idea who, but maybe Larsson) Catts, Sess McClean. There we go, a creative midfielder, another problem solved...
Different formations for different games ? For me Sess plays better behind a striker but not sure what type would suit better. With a lone striker up front and one behind I think you need someone to hold the ball up well - and MON teams (or at least Villa) tend to go for pacey players - not sure Bendtner for example is his kind of player ! Sess with someone really quick ?
Prefer cash... But i'm suggesting two main forwards, and there are many choices, some who have been mentioned on here today... With Sess in the centre along side Catts, and then the two wingers..So the midfield is kind of a diamond yes. Although formations are just numbers, as we found out yesterday with Bendtner, who is supposed to be the striker, and i was mortified when he was taking passes in his own half, with several members of the team in the opposition half.....
