Who else thinks he can play Right-back. Then we put Young at Left-back and hey presto, our full back problems are over.

No way. Couldn't tackle to save his life.

I'd be more worried about his height than his tackling ability.

I think he's far too lightweight to be a right-back and would be a disaster trying to defend the flank against the likes of Man U and Arsenal wingers

How about Paddy at right back and Cerby at left back with the new kid in goal?

**** it, I'll play right back. Rather have me (6ft2 slightly over weight 37yr old) than swp at full back!!

Did anyone else see or hear anything today that we'd agreed terms with SWP today??? Sky said it but no one seems to have mentioned it and I haven't seen anything about it anywhere else??

Last I heard was City had accepted bids from 4 clubs (including QPR) & it was down to SWP to decide which one he signed for.

I wonder if SWP and Barton got on at Man City, might have a bearing on where he chooses to go

Just seen a Facebook post from a friend who is usually itk - SWP signing tomorrow. I'm too far away to be close to the gossip - I wake up to the announcements usually

I didn't think about tackling. Come to think of it, I hardly thought this through at all. I'd make a terrible manager, but a brilliant one for C*elsea.
