I saw on another forum that its because he's close to triggering an automatic contract extension if he plays a certain number of games. I hope its true as we won't see him this or next season hes probably played his last game for us.
That would make sense because he was actually playing quite well early in the season before he was mysteriously dropped, never to appear again. Himself and Hoillett could have been separated at birth. They both look the same and play the exact same football; Good dribbling up until decision time and then ain't got a clue what to do. The one thing W-Phillips has over him is that he's less injury prone. Other than that there's not a *** paper between them IMO.
Of course but its not just us that gets caught, I think bent at villa had the same thing and its happened to other teams too. Our football knowledge in contract, wages etc leaves a lot to be desired. I think most of us would have saved TF millions if we were in beards position. TF puts too much trust in beard and the managers.
He scored against Chelsea and is a Hero to me ... fine footballer ... chuck all the players away lads Hoilett and SWP not good enough for the Rangers Who do you want next?
Oddball, I'm with you on W-Philllps. I think he found his level this season and was doing well for us when he played. Then he just vanished all of a sudden.
If this is true you would have thought that the two parties could come to a compromise agreement and amend the contract. It can't be to the players advantage to not be playing senior games while waiting for his existing deal to expire. Equally the club are paying for nothing. Swords is spot on to underline the similarities between Hoilett and Wright-Phillips. The only difference is their age. I fully expect the former to struggle later in his career unless to can adapt his style when the pace starts to go.
Shame that was to the extent that he ended Dean Ashton's career in an England training session then never apologised. He is an awful footballer and a disgusting human being. Should be on loan at Charlton now and out of our club Hoilett by contrast has underperformed and you get the feeling that if you put a cone on the pitch he'd manage to dribble into it but he did play well on Saturday and there is time and enough in him for it to be worth sticking by him, especially considering the alternatives at the moment
Whoops, I misread that, at 1st glance I thought you had typed that he doesn't mind getting stuck into some tackle.....
We need Hoilett at the moment, if only for a second choice winger. We do not need SWP. Others could play instead of him, i.e. O'Neill, Krancjar, and a long list that I can't be bothered typing.
Of course, it may be that the poster on this other message board is wrong & that HR just won't play him. If it is true it was a stupid clause for the club to agree to.
Hoilett had two assists in his last game, SWP would struggle to get to that amount in his whole QPR career.
I do find your intermittent contributions quite erratic Damage, even if I do really like your posts at the same time! W-Phillips, who as far as I can remember never made a joke of our Club, is "a disgusting human being" but the man you can't stop sucking off (I won't mention his name) who made a farce of the Club on more than one occasion is practically a Deity?! You, Sir, need to get a couple of electrodes attached to your noggin and have a good current run through it. AC or DC it matters not, just as long as its cranked up to the last.
" Whoops, I misread that, at 1st glance I thought you had typed that he doesn't mind getting stuck into some tackle....." you sure that shouldn't read getting stuck under a table?
