He looks interesting, I must say. As another user said earlier, its unlikely we'd be linked with anyone defensively if there was nothing in it, and it seems fairly reasonable. Not a name I've heard of, but will the draw of the Premier League be more attractive than Lazio?
Do you know how reliable this fan-site is Dave? It could have begun with Norwich fan says- 'hey, that guy used to play in the Bundesliga and speaks German, I wonder if Lambert knows him?'. But I guess there could be more to this and I'm sure they are looking at some defenders so why not !?
I noticed this, you never know we could get a foreign gem but we could also get a mattias jonson! The only think thats making me doubt this is im sure lambert said he would only sign british players? But he has been moaning about inlfated prices so maybe hes been resorted to going abroad...
The Swiss International team, although have not set the world alight, have been pretty consistent and not so easy to beat in recent years and I am guessing this guy has been part of that team. Despite that, I have a genuine worry about Norwich and foreign players. Our track record in the past has been questionable (to put it mildly). At least this guy is a 'current' International player so hopefully would be a better acquisition that previous ones but probably like many others it's not a name I am familiar with.
