As I used to work in Swindon two days a week, I'd guess this celebration is more about the town turning a corner than simply about the tremendous achievements of Paulo and Co. Officially 'the worst hit town in Britain' during the recession, I've seen at first hand the devastation wrought on this unlovely but decent place - now it's time to celebrate success with a bang and hopefully signal an upturn in fortunes for the entire town. Good luck to them.
