    ..... ..... ...... ..... ...... ..... ...... ..... ...... .....Top .... Bottom ...... .....
    TEAM ........ PLYD ... Won ... Draw ... Lost ... 12pts ... 11pts ... PTS

    CITY........ ..... 16 ....... 10 ....... 6 ....... 0 ..... 19 .... 17 ...... 36
    SWINDON ..... 15 ..... 7 ........ 5 ...... 3 ....... 10 ...... 16 ...... 26

they are 7 or 10 points behind us, will know 2200 Tuesday
Have got 10 points from teams that ( based on ) were in the top half of the table after 10 games, and 16pts from the bottom 11 teams at that time

At home.......W3.. D3.. L 1 GF 17 ..GA 11 beating Scunny,Crewe, drawing Coventry, Oldham, beat Sheff, lost to Rochdale drew with Colchester 9 last home game)

    AWAY ........W4.. D2 ..L2.. GF14 ..GA8 +12 ..... 26points............ beat Chest,drew Yeo, beat LO,BARN, BRAD, drew Gills

Home form hardly inspires as 4 of the 7 are well in bottom half of the table
Away form has 4 of the 8 in bottom half...!
Take out the 5-2 scoreline ( sheff ) and they are just better at home scoring than conceding

VERDICT local Derby AND A DRAW WOULD GOOD RESULT

A very tough nut, I agree a draw would be ok but a win would be magnificent, I am positive but I think we are heading for a draw, Cotts, I hope will pull off one of his miracles, Up the City..

Be interesting to see how our proper team will react at Swindon after our reserves have potentially been knocked out of two cup competitions in the intervening period. To be honest I would be quite happy out of both cups and because of how the fixtures have fallen we can make 5 or 6 changes for Gillingham and then change the rest for Wimbledon without breaking any rules :)

Avoiding our first league defeat will be a good job done.

They will be up for it, that's for sure

At Ashton Gate last season, Swindon were a tough team to play. Niggly fouls, petty little interruptions, time wasting right from the start. Anything to break up the flow of the game.
It probably will not be any different this time but with one exception in that they are at home and their crowd may get at them if they don't attack us all the time.
I think we will catch them on the break a couple of times to win 2-0.
