I went and looked at the league two table and was surprised to find Swindon third from bottom, it seems they have the same problem with winning as the Gills do, so who will break form and actually win for a change, well let's keep this brief... Swindon 1-1 Gills (anyone that is fit to play)
Last week's game was abysmal, to say the least, I keep saying I feel we are missing something. Yes a TEAM, A TEAM that wants to wear their shirt with pride. Has the guts to fight for the TEAM work and run till you can't run anymore. We showed for 5 minutes, in the second half last week, we were a unit. BUT we did not score. How unusual. We have now had 3 gaffers since Mr and Mrs G took over and they all seem to have had the same problem we can't score. Now Bonner has had all summer to move things around, get rid of the rubbish, and bring in new players to compete at this level and get us promoted. And once again we hit the top for 5-6 weeks and now we are back where we ended last season. MID-TABLE and to be honest the side we have now is just about good enough to be mid-table. The season started with and still is an average 7000 home gate. Bradford's match was a massive 16.000 for Div 2 it was amazing. Looking at the previous stats since 2014 for the away fixture and we have only lost 1, Drawn 2 and won 4. Just seen Bonners news. We are not playing badly lololololol What an understatement, we are S%$£E with a capital S This fixture has a lot of bad history. But I am going with the Stats Swine Town 1 v 2 MKB Sorry Rant Over
The question I'd ask Lenny is does Bonner have anything to do with bringing players in, or is it all down to Jackett and Hessy?
I agree with your comment as we have in the past seen this problem, He is a Gaffer on the touchline but not in the back-room. So who really is in charge of the club???
Exactly Lenny. Which would also explain why this problem has persisted with three different managers. The solution for me would be to sack KJ, and put Bonner in charge of his own recruitment with Hessy as a scout. Not that I pretend to know what I'm talking about lol, but it's what I'm thinking.
